“Max has been coaching me swimming, leading up to my biggest event last September swimming the length of Windermere lake. We were training hard to better my time this year when COVID hit, and that meant no more swimming for a while. So, in March we agreed to carry on training but to look at running and cycling instead. I have never been a runner and it filled me with some dread!! With excellent coaching from Max, progressively pushing me in both technique and distance, I was so pleased last weekend (in October) to achieve my furthest running distance ever of 19km. What is even better is that because it was all done so well, I have not had any injuries!"
